Unfortunately, until I get the official NFP in place, your purchases are not tax deductible.
2. How can I support this charitable project?

3. How do you see this project growing?
The truth is, I have more ideas than time! I want to get other artists involved. I want to reach out to nonprofits and help organize joint events and intitiatives. I want to figure out ways to get some attention to this cause!

6. Give me a bunch of word and phrase associations to help me see the connection and intention here.
Wake up to beauty no matter where you sleep. Find visibility. Spread awareness. Share art. Form connections. Connect with the unity of art. Give. Inspire. Offer hope. See and be seen. Don't ignore. Those without homes are still very human, just like you. I want to help.
7. What are some safe and easy ways to distribute art cards?
Data suggests that those suffering from homelessness are more likely to be victims than dangerous offenders. Just like any interaction with someone you don't know, you still want to be cautious and place your safety as a priority. Here are some tips to engage safely:
- Distribute from your car instead of on the street.
- Only distribute during daylight hours.
- Establish code words to signal threats if you have someone with you.
- If you are seeking an area of homeless population to distribute to, make sure someone knows where you are going.
- Never engage alone: Always have a companion when approaching someone, especially in unfamiliar areas.
- Maintain distance: Keep a comfortable physical space between you and the person you're talking to.
- Be respectful: Introduce yourself, make eye contact, and use polite language.
- Observe body language: Watch for signs of discomfort or aggression, and be ready to disengage if needed.
- Ask for permission: Before sitting down or getting too close, ask if it's okay to do so.
- Trust your instincts: If you feel threatened or uncomfortable, leave the situation immediately.
- Avoid personal questions: Don't ask overly intrusive questions about their situation unless they initiate the topic.
- Be mindful of your belongings: Keep your valuables secure and readily accessible.
8. What do I do if someone doesn't want it, like it, throws it away, leaves it on the ground...
Simply take it back, if applicable, and disengage kindly. Your intention is sound and if they refuse it, then respect their choice and move on to someone else. It's ok!
